Kevin has spent his career integrating environmental goals with commercial success and turning biodiversity into real value. From soil health to sustainable systems, he specialises in aligning profit with long-term stewardship. 

In the early trials of the Sustainable Farming Initiative, Kevin played a key role in helping shape its rollout across hill and arable farms and this experience cemented his approach into one that is practical, evidence-led, and always tuned in to the real pressures that farmers face

No two days are the same and Kevin moves between infrastructure projects, estate strategy, crofting schemes, and utility works. He thrives on complexity, especially when it comes to negotiating difficult land use decisions and finding common ground where interests clash.

His track record spans climate research on British grasslands, large-scale crop production to fuel the UK’s biggest anaerobic digester, and complex compensation negotiations across a 30-mile energy grid upgrade.

When he’s not working, Kevin volunteers on biodiversity and ecosystem projects.
