Elspeth Jackson

From managing diverse estates, working within the electricity sector and advising on some of the most complex renewable energy developments Elspeth has done it.

She manages portfolios of renewable energy projects at every stage. Alongside this, she undertakes valuations of renewable energy assets from both perspectives, providing advice on loan security, financial reporting and accounting requirements, portfolio reviews, acquisitions and disposals, estate planning, and strategic decision-making.

A key part of Elspeth's work involves undertaking strategic portfolio reviews, identifying renewable energy opportunities that can maximise both the value of their land and long-term income potential. She advises clients on how best to position their estates for emerging technologies and evolving market opportunities, helping them unlock additional revenue streams while maintaining their wider land management objectives.

Negotiation is where Elspeth truly excels. She regularly leads complex land negotiations, often involving forestry, farming and renewable energy interests that must be carefully harmonised. Whether negotiating option agreements, leases, servitudes, wayleaves or construction rights, she combines technical understanding with commercial awareness.

Beyond her renewable energy consultancy work, Elspeth also plays an important role in estate and asset management, ensuring clients' interests are protected and the long-term value of their assets is maximised. Away from the office, she is a committee member of the Scottish Dorset Sheep Association/
