Becky Ridgewell

Before she moved into delivery, Becky worked client-side, managing full project lifecycles and wider programme work. She knows what it feels like to be under that pressure and that experience shapes everything she does. She builds relationships that last, communicates in a way people can understand, and sees trouble coming before it arrives.

Translating strategic goals into something real and lasting is what drives Becky. Getting from feasibility to completion isn't just a process to her, it's a relationship, held together through every setback and small win along the way.

Her standout project so far was the refurbishment of a 20-year-old life sciences building, fully occupied throughout the programme. The scheme involved the replacement of major M&E infrastructure, lower gas usage, and a complete overhaul of the welfare facilities - all while scientists carried on with live experiments.

Becky is part of the Cambridge Forum for the Construction Industry's NextGen network, which keeps her connected to what's happening across the wider industry. She's especially keen on bringing younger people into the built environment. Having started out herself not that long ago, she remembers exactly what would have helped.
